Perform mechanical calculations and engineering analyses to ensure system performance, durability, and safety. Conduct root-cause analysis of mechanical failures in automotive systems. Develop corrective engineering solutions to prevent recurring mechanical issues and improve vehicle reliability. Standardize mechanical procedures and technical specifications for recurring automotive services. Develop and implement testing protocols to validate mechanical system performance after repairs or modifications. Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. Optimize mechanical tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop machinery required for automotive maintenance operations. Assist in audits and inspections by providing engineering documentation and technical explanations. Work closely with service managers, technicians, suppliers, and vendors to implement engineering solutions. Requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from US or accredited foreign college.
