Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about mechanical design, product development, and engineering innovation. The successful candidate will support the design, modeling, and development of mechanical components and assemblies using Siemens NX CAD software. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university. Experience using Siemens NX for 3D modeling, drafting, and design work through academic projects, internships, co-ops, or professional experience. Understanding of engineering fundamentals, including: Mechanical design principles GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Engineering drawings and specifications Materials and manufacturing processes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Preferred Qualifications Internship, co-op, or project experience in product design, aerospace, manufacturing, or mechanical systems. Familiarity with PLM systems such as Teamcenter. Experience with FEA, CFD, or engineering analysis tools. Knowledge of additive manufacturing or machining processes. Key Responsibilities Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using Siemens NX . Support engineering design activities from concept through production. Assist in the development of technical documentation, drawings, and reports. Collaborate with Sr. engineers, manufacturing teams, and project stakeholders. Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into design updates. Ensure designs comply with company, industry, and customer requirements. Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Merritt Island, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $41.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
