Job Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Sys Integratn/Test Engineer for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
(REQUIRED
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
):
  • Candidates must have at least 2+ years of relevant engineering experience
  • Candidates must have at least 1+ years of system integration and/or test experience
  • Candidates must have at least 2+ years of test planning, test execution, lab operations, and test analysis principle experience.
  • Candidates must have at least 2+ years of developing test documentation such as test plans, procedures, and reports experience
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be the System Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) Engineer to support a program's system integration and system qualification initiatives in Orlando, FL. Our team is responsible for executing sub-system and system level integration and tests for new and existing products. As the IT&E Engineer, you will be responsible for working in the laboratory onsite:
  • Generating and executing sub-system and system level integration and test plans/procedures
  • Supporting the preparation of test equipment and facilities required for test events
  • Supporting Design Verification Tests (DVT) and Qualification tests, including Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), and Functional Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for new hardware
  • Support Failure investigations and resolution of hardware, software and test equipment anomalies that have occurred during system and subsystem testing
  • Provide engineering evaluations of redesigns or upgrades to the existing missile
  • Leading the Lab Operations to ensure compliance, 6S and regular audit/inspections
  • Working closely with the Engineering Operations Directorate to synergize our working relationship
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
(DESIRED
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
):
  • MS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Integration and Test (I&T) working with Hardware Integration with a focus on sensor integration
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex test data and provide recommendations for product design improvements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail, with ability to ensure accurate and reliable test results
  • Empowerment to drive mutually beneficial solutions when a clear answer is not readily visible
  • Experience with test fixture design, test procedure development, and Development Verification Test (DVT)
  • Experience with Environmental Qualification Testing
  • Experience with EMI Testing
REQUIRED EDUCATION
  • Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Aerospace) or Physics
WORK HOURS
Full-Time 4/10A-1st Shift.
