• as an Overhead Transmission Line Engineer on our Transmission Design team. In this role you'll be designing and creating construction drawings for overhead transmission design projects.
• This position may be based out of the following locations: Lake Mary/Orlando, FL, Palm Beach, FL or Raleigh, NC
• Responsibilities
• + Design overhead transmission lines in the 69kV to 500kV range.

+ Prepare construction sketches for overhead network services (4 KV through 34 KV). + Perform structural analysis and design, perform foundation designs. + Model transmission lines in PLS-CADD, determine right of way requirements, calculate conductor sags, and develop transmission line plan and profile drawings. + Review vendor submittals.

• Minimum Qualifications
• + BS Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited school + 4-6 years of experience in overhead transmission design + Knowledge of Microsoft Office product applications, PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, MFAD or similar + Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, having high attention to detail.

+ Great communication skills and the ability to effectively discuss technical recommendations with customers. + Great computer skills. + PE license is a plus + Ability to travel up to 10% of the time + Must possess valid driver's license \#LI-JT1
