Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with deep, hands-on proficiency in Siemens Solid Edge to join our team on-site. In this role, you will take ownership of the design process from initial concept through production implementation. You will collaborate closely with manufacturing and assembly teams right on our shop floor to build high-quality, production-ready models and documentation. This position features a starting base salary of $52,000 per year , plus eligibility for our Profit Share Advantage program after 90 days , allowing you to directly benefit from the growth and profitability of the company. Key Responsibilities 3

D Modeling & Design:

Create, modify, and optimize complex 3D parts and large assemblies utilizing Solid Edge synchronous and ordered environments.

Manufacturing Drawings:

Generate precise 2D manufacturing drawings incorporating accurate tolerances, GD&T, and fabrication symbols. Design for Manufacturing (DFM): Optimize components for on-site production processes to reduce material waste and assembly time.

BOM & Lifecycle Management:

Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering change orders (ECOs), and required assembly documentation.

Shop-Floor Collaboration:

Partner directly with fabrication and assembly staff to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and refine design intents.

Required Qualifications Education:

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or equivalent practical design experience.

Experience:

2-5 years of proven product design or manufacturing engineering experience.

Software Mastery:

Advanced, demonstrable proficiency in Solid Edge is strictly required.

Communication:

Exceptional communication skills, with a collaborative mindset suited for a fast-moving production environment. Preferred Qualifications Prior background handling material data management or PLM/PDM structures. Experience in automated machinery, structures, or custom product fabrication.
