We are looking for Senior Mechanical Engineers, ideally experienced working in the food industry, must be able to travel occasionally when required, and have a minimum of 15 years experience in a mechanical engineering environment. The Senior Mechanical Engineer plays a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing the daily operation of various workloads including all types of processing high speed food equipment. This position is responsible for ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently, while also having initiative to problem solve, improve productivity, and quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical engineering skills, with computer knowledge and technical ability in the field of engineering. Knowledge of Autocad Inventor is a bonus. Duties Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of equipment, with problem finding, solving and testing Streamline processes and enhance productivity, including at customer sites. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Prepare reports regarding operational performance and strategic initiatives. Location in Sarasota area Skills Proven experience in Mechanical Engineering, ideally in the food industry. Excellent interpersonal skills, at all levels Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
