Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our fabrication team. As a Mechanical Engineer in fabrication, you will be responsible for creating and developing fabrication 3D Models and drawings for our product. Your innovative ideas and expertise will play a crucial role in designing products that meet our clients' specifications and requirements. Working in a collaborative environment, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of Engineers to provide integrated and comprehensive solutions. Your strong technical knowledge and proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software will be vital in developing accurate and efficient designs. Additionally, your problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you resolve any design issues or challenges that may arise during the product development process.
Duties:
Develop fabrication drawings and solid models from customer plans and specs utilizing Inventor software. Design and maintain accurate 3D models based on approved submittals, engineering standards, and manufacturing requirements. Must be able to multi-task and handle several projects in a fast-paced environment, attention to details is critical Create detailed material BOMs from engineering drawings and 3D models to support purchasing and inventory control. Provide direct engineering support to manufacturing operations by working on the shop floor to troubleshoot production issues, implement corrective actions, and improve product quality and efficiency.
Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field or 7+ years experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing or Engineering setting. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, Revit) for design and modeling. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and submittal packages Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Experience using sheet metal and structural members. Knowledge with weld standards and details.

$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
