Job Description

Model complex, lofted aerospace parts in NX and possibly SolidWorks Perform and interpret Finite Element Analyses Design tooling to manufacture, repair, and assemble parts Participate in bid and proposal efforts by providing technical proposal content Participate in
AS9100/ISO 9001
audits and provide quality engineering support as needed (e.g. authoring quality plans/inspections, etc) Reverse engineer parts using a Faro arm, Keyence and Verisurf software to fill in missing or incorrect data in drawing and loft and use Faro arm to verify models created Adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes Document actions by completing logs Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments Update existing work instructions to comply with updated Quality requirements Work with technicians to improve (lean) processes Read and interpret specifications, drawings, and other technical data to develop manufacturing process Work with Senior Program Managers as Project Engineer aiding in performance of analyses and interpretation of results as required Other duties as assigned Requirements Education/Training (both required and desired): Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant engineering or science discipline, from an ABET accredited program required
Experience:
5+ years of professional experience in the required task area Familiarity with
ASME Y14.100
Standard Practices for Engineering Drawings 3D printing of prototype parts
Security:
Must be a US citizen Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
Physical Requirements:

$100,000 - 110,000 This is not a guarantee of compensation, rather actual salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and applicable certifications or degrees held. Offered salary may fall outside of this range.
