Job Description

Build, validate, and deliver in Gainesville, GA Our mission is to transform ideas into reliable hardware that ships. As a Mechanical Design Engineer focused on manufacturing integration, you will bridge design intent with production realities, ensuring every part and assembly is ready for the line. Your mission Own the mechanical definition from first sketch to released drawing. Work shoulder to shoulder with peers across engineering, manufacturing, and quality to create designs that meet requirements the first time and scale smoothly. Core responsibilities Architect mechanical parts and systems in CAD, iterating toward performance, cost, and manufacturability targets. Collaborate across functions to confirm requirements and incorporate feedback quickly. Assess feasibility through simulations and structured studies to reduce risk early. Publish clear, complete documentation: models, detailed drawings, specifications, and technical write-ups. Lead and contribute in design reviews, elevating designs through evidence-based discussion. Provide production support, diagnosing design-related issues and implementing robust fixes. Continuously learn and apply advances in materials, processes, and design practices. Qualifications BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Track record in mechanical design; manufacturing experience preferred. Competence with CAD such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD. Strong analytical ability and methodical problem solving. Effective communicator and collaborative partner. Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects to completion.
