Summary:

The Mechanical Design Engineering Intern will provide Mechanical Design support to the Engineering Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

include the following. Other duties as assigned. Think logically and reasonably to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Learn basic principles of Mechanical Engineering/Design. Assist with project research and preliminary designs and analysis. Support preparation of final design plans, provisions and cost estimates. Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation. Understand department needs and seek clarification when needed. Work with AutoCADD program. Compose Engineering documents regarding design and layouts. Take Measurements and create designs. Adheres to and enforces safety, food safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices regulations. Reports food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.

• Education and/or

Experience:

High School Diploma or GED; Currently attending accredited institution pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering . Experience in using

AutoCAD Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Valid Passport book or the ability to obtain one within 3 months of hire.

Computer Skills:

Microsoft Office ;

Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Work Environment:
