Job Title:

Equipment Procurement/Thermal Process Engineer.

Waynesboro, GA 30830.

Duration:

8 Months. On-Site role

Experience & Education:

7-10 years of experience in a related field. Accredited Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. PE preferred. Master's preferred.

Responsibilities:

Perform thermal analysis of simple and combined cycle plants on a daily basis. Write technical reports and specifications. Run heat balance software. Travel 25% of the time. Size major equipment for new as well as retrofit projects. Utilize proficient Excel skills for data and calculations. Utilize Thermoflow, Gate Cycle, or other Heat Balance programs. Troubleshoot plant equipment under warranty and provide field support. Support startup of new equipment at plant sites.

Skill Sets & Expertise:

Experience in the field of thermodynamics for a minimum of 3 Years. Experience with simple and combined cycle plants. Solid experience with mass and thermal balance. Experience writing reports and specifications. Experience running heat balance software. Experience sizing major rotating as well as heat transfer equipment. OEM experience preferably with GE, Siemens, Nooter Erickson, or Toshiba. Experience with Thermoflow, Gate Cycle, or other Heat Balance programs. Plant site experience preferred. Experience troubleshooting plant equipment. Proficient in Microsoft Office. SR1

Pay:
