Overview of the Program Bettendorf's Mechanical Engineering Internship Program offers hands-on experience in mechanical engineering. Interns will work alongside experienced engineers to design, build, and debug custom robotic work cells and industrial automation systems. This program is ideal for individuals eager to apply their academic knowledge in a fast-paced, real-world environment where innovation and collaboration drive success. This position requires participation in our Immersion Day at our Cleveland, OH headquarters during one of your first few weeks. Lincoln Electric will provide and cover all travel arrangements and expenses. What You'll Work On Develop custom manufacturing equipment tailored to specific customer requirements. Design and implement robotic systems for customer applications with a focus on automation. Engineer robotic solutions to optimize internal manufacturing processes. Conduct engineering analysis on mechanical designs to validate performance, identify improvements, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
