Full Job Description Mechanical Engineer III Location:
Meridian, ID (Onsite) Join JST JST is an industry leader, dedicated to providing state-of-the-art wet processing, drying, and chemical management tools for applications in semiconductors, electronics, flat panel displays, optoelectronics, medical devices, and other industries where cleanliness is critical. We're seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to join our Engineering team and support the design and development of custom wet processing equipment. What You'll Do Design mechanical and automation systems, including plumbing and tank systems, while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and customer requirements. Support the development of system and engineering specifications by evaluating design feasibility and updating specifications as project requirements evolve. Prepare final engineering drawings and develop approval drawing layouts as assigned. Respond to manufacturing questions and requests for information. Verify products are manufactured according to engineering specifications and resolve discrepancies by updating drawings, routings, and bills of materials (BOMs) as needed. Prepare bills of materials (BOMs), routers and manufacturing instructions Ensure engineering deliverables are completed on schedule to support manufacturing timelines and customer ship dates. Collaborate with engineering team members to coordinate designs, communicate design constraints, and develop effective technical solutions. Assist with project estimating and quoting by developing design concepts, selecting components, and providing manufacturing cost inputs. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably in equipment manufacturing, industrial manufacturing, or the semiconductor industry Proficiency with SolidWorks and 3D CAD design Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacturing principles Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, plumbing diagrams, and technical drawings Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills Why JST?
