JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title:

Graphite Specialist

Position Description:

Protingent Staffing has an exciting direct hire Graphite Specialist opportunity.

Job Responsibilities:

Design mechanical systems incorporating graphite materials, ensuring optimal performance and durability.

Ensurepliance with ASME codes and industry standards.

Develop technical specifications, design documentation, and engineering drawings.

Participate in supplier evaluations and material procurement related to graphiteponents.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including material science, quality, and operations, to integrate graphiteponents into system designs.

Conduct structural analysis, materialpatibility evaluations, and failure analysis for graphite-relatedponents.

Support testing, validation, andmissioning activities involving graphite systems.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

5+ years of experience in mechanical system design, including graphite applications.

Strong understanding of ASME codes and standards.

Experience in structural analysis tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus) required.

Excellent problem-solving, technical writing, andmunication skills.

Experience with project and contract management is preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward licensure is a plus.
