This is an excellent opportunity to become a senior technical resource within a highly respected engineering team, leading the design and development of custom industrial power equipment while working on technically challenging, engineered-to-order projects from concept through production. They have built an outstanding reputation for engineering excellence, investing heavily in both their products and people, and are now looking to strengthen their engineering team with an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. In this technically diverse role, you will lead complex mechanical design projects, interpret customer specifications, develop innovative engineering solutions, and work closely with electrical engineering, project management, manufacturing, and sales throughout the entire project lifecycle. This role would suit a Senior Mechanical Engineer with experience designing industrial equipment, fabricated equipment, or heavy mechanical assemblies who enjoys combining hands-on engineering with technical leadership and project ownership.
The Role:
Lead the mechanical design and development of custom industrial equipment from concept through production Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and review design packages prior to release Work closely with project management, production, electrical engineering, and sales to ensure successful project execution Drive continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices across the department
The Person:
Senior Mechanical Engineer / Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Strong 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks, Creo or similar) Experience with sheet metal, structural steel, fabrication, welded assemblies, or engineered-to-order equipment Looking to join a growing manufacturer offering long-term progression and technical leadership opportunities
