Our client works with major customers in agriculture, oil/gas, and industrial settings, ensuring that they are able to monitor their performance, measure and control environmental impacts, and operate efficiently. Job Description Lead the hands-on design, development, and continuous improvement of mechanical products supporting our clients industrial instrumentation systems. Apply established New Product Development (NPD) processes, engineering standards, and safety requirements throughout the product development lifecycle. Partner with manufacturing and quality teams to support efficient production readiness and successful product launches. Participate in mechanical peer reviews, design evaluations, technical documentation, and the ongoing development of engineering best practices. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering strongly preferred or related field 10+ years of experience in mechanical design in a manufacturing setting Strong familiarity with industrial standards, safety certifications, and compliance - IEC, ATEX particularly Strong with Autodesk Inventor. Extensive knowledge of mechanical casting and machining processes Statistical analysis, tolerance stack-up, and material strength and durability. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Knowledge and experience in staged-gate processes for new product development.

Ansys mechanical stress and strain knowledge

Metal, ceramic, and plastic material science knowledge
PREFERRED
Deep knowledge of sensing technologies - radar, force, pressure, temperature, humidity, gas analysis)

Material science knowledge for carbon steel, aluminum, ceramics, and plastics.
