This company specializes in quality molded products for a variety of diversified industries, including automotive, appliances, furniture, industrial filtration, etc.
Summary:
This role is the primary customer service advocate and champion for their program and works to ensure the customer has world class experience during the business development and fulfillment stages of their product.
Essentially Responsibilities:
Takes ownership in customer experience, timeline and deliverables and ensures all members of the organization support the customer, project, and company objectives. Remain engaged in all aspects of the project from initial award through and including safe launch period. Leads cross functional team and facilitate the APQP process. Facilitates cross functional tool design reviews and design approval from Director of Tooling. Deliver turnkey tooling, systems, and production processes to the operations team ensuring all functional and dimensional issues are resolved prior to SOP. Ensuring cost objectives are met (BOM cost, tooling, engineering, and ECO budgets, etc.). Provide timeline updates to the customer as needed but at a minimum of every two weeks in a Gantt chart format. Is encouraged to be an active participant in all tool samplings, must attend all in house T0 tool samplings. Observe runoff of overseas tooling prior to approving tool shipment. Travel as needed to support customer needs and visit tooling and other suppliers to ensure the quality of tool construction and that customer timelines and project objectives are met. Provides customer support for any issues related to the assigned program(s). Continue to be a technical resource supporting the project until the end of production. When necessary, escalate within the organization to ensure customers and project objectives are met. Manage ECO's for assigned projects and accounts.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferred), manufacturing engineering, or business or technical equivalent. Experience managing projects that involve injection molded plastics and experience launching new programs with Tier I automotive suppliers or automotive customers is a plus. Tooling background would be a definite plus. Experience with 3D CAD modeling software and mold flow software is a plus. #MP1
Pay:
$125,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
