Job Description
job summary: A Manufacturing Equipment Engineer is needed for a leading manufacturing organization in the Lexington, KY area. The Manufacturing Equipment Engineer will support operations across multiple plants. This role is responsible for evaluating, planning, and deploying automation, robotics, conveyors, and expansion projects. You will support equipment lifecycle management, process standardization, and technical specifications for new vehicle launches and facility refurbishments. Qualified candidate must have equivalent technical experience, (BS Degree preferred) along with 2+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment. Skills in equipment specification development, CAD software, MS Office, and A3/Ringi documentation are required. Hands-on experience with paint shop systems, robotics, maintenance, and equipment set-up/buy-off is highly desirable. This is a long-term contract role slated to last 12+ months, and our client is only seeing local talent at this time.
