Job Description
You know the difference between watching a schedule and making a schedule happen . On these projects, mechanical work is on the critical path and you're the person in the field making sure crews, materials, subcontractors, and other trades stay aligned. What you'll do: You'll lead day-to-day mechanical construction on large-scale data center projects, owning the field execution from installation through commissioning. Run HVAC and mechanical piping operations, including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, CRAH/CRAC units, AHUs, ductwork, and hydronic systems. Lead foremen, craft labor, mechanical subcontractors, and specialty contractors in the field. Drive critical-path work and keep aggressive project milestones on track. Coordinate mechanical installation with electrical, plumbing, structural, controls, and other MEP trades. Catch constructability issues, material problems, and field conflicts before they become schedule problems. Own manpower, productivity, material deliveries, daily priorities, QA/QC, and field documentation. Help take systems through testing, startup, commissioning, punch list, and turnover.
