Summary :

We seek a creative, dynamic, highly motivated, and self-starter mechanical design engineer. In this position, you will be an integral part of the engineering team to analyze, design, and develop various systems in the field of PCB rework equipment. This role is 100% onsite. Responsibilities of the

Mechanical Engineer:

• Take primary ownership of multiple concurrent design projects
• Design new products in a team-based environment
• Apply mechanical engineering knowledge of machinery principles, materials, and manufacturing processes to ensure designs are practical, economical, and satisfy customer requirements.
• Plan component and system-level experimentation to verify and validate engineering designs
• Prepare clear and concise documentation for designs, including drawings, inspection and test requirements, calibration procedures, and work instructions.
• Prepare engineering reports, concept presentations, design reviews and project updates.
• Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to ensure designs further business objectives
• Occasional travel to customer sites less than 5% Qualifications of the

Mechanical Engineer:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering 1-3 years of experience in mechanical design of multi-disciplinary systems

• Proficient skills with Solidworks preferred.

(Creo or Inventor experience also acceptable) Working knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analyses Experience with manufacturing & manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, 3D printing) Understanding of product development process (stage phase-gate, product development cycle) Proficiency in the English language with established written and verbal communication skills Must be legally authorized to work in the US and must be able to successfully pass a complete background check and pre-employment drug test

Non-Essential Skills:

Experience in automation controls Experience with PDM Experience in FEA and CFD tools

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to occasionally move up to 25 pounds. Must be able to constantly work in a stationary position. Must be comfortable using various hand tools
