Job Description

Overall Activities:
As a Mechanical Engineering Co-op with Hallam-ICS, you will work with experienced engineers in the design of mechanical, electrical, and control systems for complex facilities, both large and small. Working with different engineers and on different projects, you will be exposed to the design practices and standards required to develop energy efficient, reliable, code compliant building and process systems. It is anticipated there may be a mix of office work with some site visits to local projects in different phases of construction. As a Co-op, you will perform a variety of tasks, ranging from document management, design drawing using AutoCAD and REVIT, calculations using spreadsheet software, product research, and other activities while gaining exposure to different aspects of the engineering process. This position is best suited to a student entering their final year of engineering study.
Qualifications:
Desire to learn. Highly motivated and ambitious self-starter Strong computer skills Familiarity with computer-aided design/drafting tools desired A pre-employment drug screening and background check are required.
