  • in this role, you will be responsible for: We are seeking a talented test engineer with Mechanical, Electrical, or Test Engineering background to support a major US Air Force Program.
As a Test Engineer, you will perform planning, coordination, and execution of component, subsystems, and system level tests as well as other evaluation activities across the program. A strong candidate will possess at least 2+ years' experience related experience. You will have the opportunity to work in a multi-disciplined team environment and directly support our nation's war fighters. Responsibilities Design test events that support product maturation throughout all phases of product development Plan, coordinate, schedule, and lead test and evaluation activities to ensure that test requirements and objectives are met per customer/program requirements and engineering and quality standards Prepare and/or review test plans, test procedures, test readiness reviews, and test reports for functional, performance, environmental, and field tests Lead/support in-house and field data collection activities including setup and operation of data acquisition systems, accelerometers, strain gauges, high speed cameras, and other test instrumentation Support test activities including product installation, integration, test, data acquisition, and analysis Perform preliminary "quick-look" analysis and provide post-test debriefs to engineering team and customers Coordinate with appropriate program, engineering, and external organizations during test planning, execution, analysis, and reporting phases Support development of test program budgets and schedules 10
  • 20% Travel Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 2+ years related experience (Level II).
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 5+ years related experience (Level III). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Familiarity with MIL-STD standards (MIL-STD 810 or
SMC-S-016
) Knowledge and/or experience using electrical/mechanical test instrumentation is a plus Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and have good organizational skills Active Secret clearance with an ability to obtain Special Access approval
