Envision is seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Research, develop, plan, and design mechanical and electromechanical products, systems, and equipment. Analyze customer requirements, technical specifications, engineering data, and design proposals to determine project feasibility and design approach. Design and develop mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, electromechanical, and automated systems utilizing sound engineering principles and industry best practices. Create and maintain engineering drawings, models, and technical documentation using ComputerAided Design (CAD) tools. Develop testing methodologies, procedures, and validation plans to evaluate system performance and reliability. Lead and coordinate fabrication, assembly, installation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with engineering requirements and customer specifications. Support operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair efforts to maximize equipment performance and system availability. Evaluate fielded systems and installations, identify deficiencies, and recommend design improvements or corrective actions. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including electrical, software, manufacturing, quality, and program management personnel. Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS 8

plus years of professional Mechanical Engineering experience. Experience designing, developing, testing, and integrating mechanical or electromechanical systems Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and system integration. Experience developing technical documentation, engineering drawings, and test procedures.

DESIRED SKILLS

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
