What You'll Be Doing Provide mechanical engineering services for multi- discipline building design projects across commercial, institutional, and government sectors. Execute all phases of mechanical design from concept through construction documents under guidance of senior engineers. Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and calculations to ensure code compliance and accuracy. Select and lay out mechanical systems, exploring alternative approaches as needed. Conduct code analyses and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure cohesive project delivery. Participate in client meetings to define project scope and validate design needs. Supervise and guide support staff on technical tasks and problem-solving. Provide construction-phase engineering support, including field visits and RFI responses. Assist with bidding processes by preparing addenda, reviewing submissions, and supporting bid evaluations. Adhere to quality control procedures, project budgets, and schedules. What You'll Bring to the Job Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program. 3+ years of experience in mechanical design for institutional, industrial, or commercial environments. EIT certification (or eligibility to obtain one). Working knowledge of building systems, codes, and Autodesk Revit/AutoCAD. Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active or obtainable security clearance.
