Automotive Fuel Economy Engineer

Location:
Onsite 5 Days a week in
Allen Park, MI JD:
Responsibilities including:
- Develop and maintain project work plans including status updates.
- Coordinate with activities regarding prototype vehicle and part requirements and availability.
- Support communication and confirmation of vehicle instrumentation requirements.
- Coordinate with proving ground to execute vehicle mileage break-in.
- Perform fuel economy testing:
o Test request generation
o Data analysis
o Coordinating vehicle updates, reflashes and/or troubleshooting as required.
o Cross-functional meeting support as required
o Coordinate catalyst bench aging - Compile and submit test and supporting documentation to EPA as needed or required.
- Support any EPA confirmatory testing.
Requirements
BS in Engineering or related field
Fuel Economy homologation and compliance experience.
