Job Description
Mechanical Engineer Duties include: Fulfilling Customer Specifications for projects. Delivering mechanical engineering within project scope definition. Delivering mechanical engineering within budget. Delivering mechanical engineering within schedule. Delivering mechanical engineering within FCC's quality expectations. Working with the mechanical engineering team on various projects simultaneously. Effective technical communication with customers. Promoting FCC when communicating with customers. Effective communication with FCC's controls engineering team. Identifying and mitigating project engineering risks. Reviewing and applying "lessons learned" from previous projects. Ensuring all opportunities for customer-paid order change requests are identified. Completing all design review objectives. Understanding and adhering to the design release process. Participating in the manufacturing debug process. Assure re-use of existing designs and standards. Assist Mechanical Engineering Manager in the planning of resources. Assist Mechanical Engineering Manager in the achievement of departmental goals and objectives. This position requires a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering, or a related field.
