Job Description
Our client is currently seeking a Engineer-Equipment - III in Bloomington, MN This job will have the following responsibilities: Determining the equipment needs for new and existing cell sites based on engineering plans and project outlines.
- Coordinating the ordering and integration process to provide complete equipment sets for projects.
- Managing supplier relationships to meet targeted network milestones and turn-up dates.
- Attending project update meetings to present status updates.
- Following appropriate methods and procedures for equipment tracking and inventory control.
- Initiating Material Requests for shipment from our centralized warehouse.
- Tracking of equipment with a focus on expense reduction and just in time ordering
- Monitor all equipment expenditures.
- Ensure vendor payment utilizing PeopleSoft Equipment Procurement.
- Oversee equipment installation and acceptance.
- Review drawings for accuracy
- Use Fuze to order equipment
Qualifications & Requirements:
Associate's degree or two or more years of work experience.- Three or more years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suites.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task.
Even better if you have:
- Knowledge of DC power systems used in the telecommunications environment.
- Knowledge of cellular network architecture.
- Knowledge of Ericsson base station equipment, CATS/FULCRUM, MapInfo, FUZE, PURCH and PeopleSoft.
