Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position available for a temporary, full-time engineering intern to join our Food & Beverage group starting in May/June 2027 and ending in August/September 2027.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting engineers with mechanical design for large-scale food and beverage facilities Performing design calculations; developing engineering design tools Assisting with project report preparation Performing field inspections Additional duties as assigned Some travel to job sites may be required. The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following: Four semesters of college-level coursework in mechanical engineering Mechanical design coursework in thermodynamics, refrigeration, and/or HVAC Experience in the design or construction industry Experience with HVAC load fundamentals Experience with Microsoft Office software

Hourly Rate Range:
