Job Description

Valley Staffing is partnering with a local company in Chanhassen to hire an Engineering Technician. This position is responsible for aiding the engineering department in the design and development of medical devices for neurological, orthopedic and reconstructive surgery.
Job Description:
Test and validate product quality and efficiency Continually work to improve existing devices and accessories Coordinate custom projects with vendors Complete Change Controls using Qualio for processes and procedures Draft designs utilizing AutoCAD and create prototypes Aid Engineering in developing manufacturing processes Assist in the completion of new and existing product design validations Investigate the root cause of non-conformities Assist with corrective actions and customer complaints Assist in training personnel to processes associated with design and development of medical devices and accessories. Complete routine equipment maintenance or repairs Assist cleanroom technicians, as required Communicate with strategic vendors and suppliers Comply with all appropriate regulatory agencies (GMP, ISO, FDS, etc.)
Qualifications:
2 or 4-year degree in an applicable field, preferably engineering Experience with MS Office, MS Project, SolidWorks and AutoCAD Written and verbal communication skills Must be mechanically inclined Excellent problem solving and design skills
Pay:
$23-$26/hr
Shift:
8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through
Friday Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
