Essential Job FunctionsResponsibilities:

Conduct field investigations and perform failure/accident analysis on incidents involving all types of vehicles and related mechanical equipment Create engineering CAD layouts, diagrams, graphics, 2D drawings and 3D models Perform camera matching and video analysis with simulation software Perform calculations, engineering analysis, computer analyses and simulations, and technical reporting Investigate design, safety and failure of machinery and mechanical systems Provide technical findings and conclusions in layman's terms, both verbally and in writing Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops Accept and integrate constructive feedback into job performance Review professional publications, establish personal networks and participate in professional societies Regular and predictable physical presence in the office during training, with the exception of sites

Position Requirements:

B.S in Mechanical Engineering required E.I.T. Certification preferred Ability to obtain P. E. registration through testing within 24 months NHTSA, Forensic, Racing, Vehicle Safety, or Manufacturing background or interest is a plus Strong written and oral communication skills Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Public speaking experience is a plus

Physical Requirements:

Travel and ability to drive to site locations Ability to maneuver in and around an accident site Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing Ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues Ability to drive in all conditions Ability to fly on airplanes Ability to visually inspect job sites and relevant artifacts Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required by the work site Ability to learn a new industry and obtain required certifications
