Type:
full-time Insight Global is seeking a Product Engineer for a leading manufacturer of utility, aerial, crane, and specialty equipment. This role will support both existing product lines and new product development efforts. Responsibilities include designing and modifying components in SolidWorks, performing engineering analysis and testing, troubleshooting manufacturing and field issues, driving product improvements, and collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate has SolidWorks experience, a hands-on mindset, and enjoys working across design, production, and testing environments.
Must-Haves:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred Other related engineering disciplines considered 0-2+ years of engineering experience (open to strong recent graduates with internship experience) SolidWorks/CAD modeling experience Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Hands-on troubleshooting mindset with willingness to work in manufacturing/shop environments Technical aptitude in 3D modeling, engineering design, and problem solving
