Job Description
Seeking an R&D Senior Engineer with strong experience in Medium Voltage (MV) Reclosers or overhead MV distribution products. The candidate will support product design, testing, reliability, certification, and engineering improvements for MV electrical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop MV Reclosers and electrical power equipment. Perform root-cause analysis, design reviews, and reliability engineering. Support product testing and certification activities. Ensure compliance with
IEEE C37.60, IEC
62271-111, ANSI, UL, CSA, and NEMA standards. Collaborate with ABB manufacturing facilities to develop and validate engineering solutions. Document engineering findings, designs, and technical results. Support IP generation and project IP strategy.
Required Skills:
MV Reclosers / MV Electrical Products
•Preferred Electrical equipment design: Reclosers, Breakers, Switches, Contactors, or Outdoor MV Distribution MV product design and development Root Cause Analysis & Reliability Engineering
IEEE / IEC / ANSI / UL / CSA / NEMA
standards Dielectric, Thermal & Structural Simulation

Product Testing & Certification Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Mechanical.
Pay:
$50.00
•$55.00 per hour
