Somerset, NJ — Whitman is a multi-disciplinary firm seeking a full-time entry level mechanical engineer to join our team based out of the Somerset, New Jersey office. We are looking for an engineer who desires a career in designing sustainable mechanical systems for buildings. This position will require working on multiple projects concurrently, managing demanding schedules and working with a team of engineers to design projects for our clients. This requires the candidate to be self-motivated, independent, results-oriented and able to re-prioritize as required. This position provides the opportunity to learn and grow technical competency by receiving on-the-job related training under the supervision of a senior professional mechanical engineer working on a wide variety of residential, commercial, public and light industrial projects. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. EIT certification is plus, but not required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD required. REVIT knowledge and experience is a plus, but not required. Ability to visit project sites.
Salary Range:
$62,500 to $70,000 annually
