Title:
Dependent on experience and education, this role can be assigned to either an Engineer or Technician level.Schedule:
8:00 am- 4:30 pm M-F (potential to flex to 4/10's)

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year lab or directly related experience, ideally with 3D Printing experience. Salary/Pay Range (based on experience and qualifications):Technician:
$23-30/hr.;Engineer:
$60- 70K +
Position Overview:
The 3D Printing Engineer will work in support of a line of precision 3D resins specifically formulated for the dental industry. They will assist with daily 3D projects as directed. This is a great opportunity to join an innovative and successful manufacturing company and be part of a technology-driven team, while learning the exciting world of 3D Printing and developing hands-on skills in the industry.Essential Job Functions:
Operate and evaluate DLP 3D Printers, post-cure units, and other manufacturing support equipment. Document / maintain procedures and test results for validation of the line of resins on various machines and post cure boxes Provide mechanical design and CAD support when applicable Assist in printing and preparing tests for R&D resins Assist in tasks pertaining to R&D projects and new developments 3D Workflow Validations Understand Validation process and requirements for Dental 3D resins Assist in 3D printer validations/tasks as directed by supervisor Operate and maintain internal 3D printers In house Mechanical testing & characterization Assist in testing mechanical properties for desired resins as needed Assist in printing and planning for full characterization of 3D resins 3D Sample Preparation Assist in development of sample process development Print/prepare/polish samples as directed by supervisor Print and prepare demo parts in support of sales and marketing teams Learn and adhere to 3D polishing protocol for applicable resins Documentation & Reporting Follow procedures for proper documentation and reporting of all 3D test data Assist in optimization of data collection & reporting Assist in any internal projects/independent projects specified by supervisor Independent projects are geared to continue the growth of the lab, optimize processes, operations, and daily tasks. May assist in training ofInterns or Technicians Qualifications:
Experience in CAD design and 3D printing. Good verbal and written communication skills- ability to work in cross-functional teams Ability to follow instructions and comply to work within policies Go getter attitude and the desire to learn Proficiency in
MS Office Education:
BS in mechanical engineering with 3D printing experience preferred. For technician level, no degree required.Desired Skills:
