Our company is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team. This is an opportunity to work with our engineering team to help with the modification and design of industrial equipment.

Responsibilities:

Communicate with Engineering Manager Develop mechanical product designs and processes Other duties as assigned; Basic experience with modeling/drafting software (solidworks, draftsight) Specification Development; Conduct basic calculations and lay outs; Gain exposure to manufacturing and operations through new product development and assist with manufacturing-engineering troubleshooting efforts;

Requirements:

Experience with CAD software, preferably Solidworks; Develop mechanical product designs and processes Excellent written and communication skills; Ability to perform work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team; Basic proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) for documentation of test results; Able to independently lead small projects with limited scope; Technical curiosity; Experience with 3D modeling/drafting, specifically SolidWorks and AutoCAD; Ability to interact with manufacturing personnel and staff; Sound problem solving and decision making skills.
