Aerospace and Defense We are urgently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of advanced radar and sensor equipment. This engineer will design, analyze, verify and provide production support for mechanical structures, electronic enclosures and electronic modules. The position works closely with systems engineers, electrical engineers, drafting, manufacturing, suppliers and test personnel. Mandatory Requirements Candidates must have both of the following: At least six years of professional Creo mechanical-modeling experience At least three years of professional ANSYS thermal and structural-analysis experience Using Creo or ANSYS occasionally does not meet the requirement. The qualifying experience and dates must be clearly documented on the resume. Candidates must also meet one of these education and experience combinations: BS in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline plus at least six to eight years of relevant experience MS in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline plus at least four to six years of relevant experience Responsibilities Design mechanical structures, electronic enclosures and electronic modules using Creo Perform ANSYS thermal and structural analysis Conduct detailed mechanical design, analysis and verification Support radar, sensor and electronic-packaging programs Develop and maintain technical data packages Participate in preliminary and critical design reviews Support requirements verification, integration and testing Collaborate with systems, electrical, drafting, manufacturing and operations teams Engage suppliers and support design-for-manufacturing activities Provide production, laboratory and test-facility support Develop assembly strategies and resolve design or production issues Document engineering analyses, decisions and test results Preferred Experience Radar, sensor or defense-electronics mechanical design Electronic packaging and environmental enclosure design Thermal management of electronic modules Aerospace or defense production support Technical data packages and configuration-controlled drawings Environmental, vibration, shock or structural testing Supplier coordination and manufacturing support Active or previously held security clearance Prescreen Questions Please answer each question when applying: Exactly how many professional years have you used Creo for mechanical modeling?
