As a member of our team, you will play a role in the entire design process including, but not limited to, BIM Revit Modeling, preliminary assessments, concept creation, design, site inspection, testing, problem resolution, and drawing and specification production. We are looking for a Mechanical BIM Modeler with Revit software experience to support our NY/NJ Mechanical and Fire Life Safety team in the delivery of transportation facilities projects. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing 3D models and CAD drawings using appropriate design criteria, and technical manuals often working closely with Senior engineers under general supervision. You'll interface with internal and external contacts and will coordinate with multiple project design disciplines for interference checking and quality control. Role involves working a hybrid, full-time position in New York City.
- Bachelor's Degree / Higher Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Min 2 years of relevant experience on Revit and AutoCAD
- Solid experience in 3D modelling software application (Revit), BIM 360 / Construction Cloud, AutoCAD.
- Provide support to BIM manager, BIM coordinator and Sr Mechanical designer in BIM implementation on projects.
- Excellent communication skills with command of spoken and written English Ideally you will also have:
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification
