Design, execute, and optimize experiments advancing product technology, fabrication processes, and measurement methods. Develop and improve laboratory test setups, including fiber-coupled optical measurement systems. Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and produce technical documentation and reports. Troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation, measurement systems, and process equipment to isolate and resolve technical issues. Support operation and continuous improvement of research fabrication processes and tooling. Develop software tools and automation for data acquisition, experiment control, and instrument sequencing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and support broader research programs. Requirements MS in Physics, Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field. Minimum 3 years of hands-on laboratory experience in an R D or process development environment. Working knowledge of optics, optical systems, and laboratory measurement techniques. Experience designing, executing, and analyzing controlled laboratory experiments. Proficiency in Python, C, or equivalent languages for automation, data acquisition, and equipment control. Experience interfacing laboratory instrumentation with computer-based control and measurement systems a plus. Knowledge of mechanical systems, motion control, or fluid dynamics a plus. #ERGx
