Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities Collaborate with Project Managers and Laser Engineers to design and optimize optomechanical components. Perform initial and ongoing design reviews Develop CAD project drawings and review drawings from team members for accuracy Deliver documentation offering a critical analysis and suggestions for correcting errors Other duties as assigned Qualifications Master's Degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering 2+ years' experience in mechanical design, preferred in optical and laser industries. Strong knowledge in SolidWorks software and drafting procedures Excellent prioritization and project development skills
