Project Designer

Steel Equipment Specialists is a leading player in the steel equipment manufacturing and engineering industry, committed to delivering top-quality products and services to our clients. With a strong dedication to creative design, industrial application lifespan, and delivering innovative solutions to our customers, we have an immediate opening for a self-motivated and detail-oriented Project Design Engineer with a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic department. Willing and capable of working in an engineering team environment. Familiarity with hydraulic systems is systems is a plus. Communication is important and should be comfortable with written and verbal communication among other team members. Willing to work in a fast paced environment that is customer focused. Highly motivated and is capable to develop novel solutions for our customers needs. Able to perform machinery design calculations. Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor design software and AutoCad is preferred. Finite Element Analysis and project management skills are a plus. Required Education and ExperienceA minimum of a 2 year associates mechanical technology degree. Minimum 5 years machine design experience, preferably in the metals industry on heavy equipment.
