Mechanical Engineer

Radiance is seeking a Mechanical Engineer who will advance signature production and analysis in support of the National Air and Space Intelligence Center at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. This Mechanical Engineer will perform production tasks with established processes and techniques including 3D CAD development of aerospace systems, data analysis, exploitation, and dissemination. The engineer will also use the 3D model to develop radar signature products that may include RCS, High Range Resolution (HRR), Synthetic-Aperture Radar (SAR), and scattering center data. Job Duties:

Generate 3D CAD models using photogrammetric techniques Generate RF signatures in accordance with well-established production processes Provide input to analysis reports and briefings Produce reports on signature production results

Required Qualifications:

U.S Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Security Clearance BS in Mechanical Engineering or other related STEM degree Ability to use CAD/Solid Modeling software, such as Solidworks or Rhinocerous Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to collaborate with others to solve problems

Desired Skills:

1 - 3 years' experience in 3D Modeling Working knowledge of aerospace structures, materials, and components Experience with Rhino3D, Linux, Xpatch, SENTRi, and Matlab Demonstrated experience in the use of advanced techniques, theories, precepts, and practice Active TS/SCI clearance Radiance Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
