Job Description
We are seeking a professional, organized, and patient-focused Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing medical practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients and help ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-paced pain management and podiatry clinic. Experience in a healthcare setting and familiarity with eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR is preferred. Responsibilities Greet and check in/check out patients in a professional and friendly manner Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling and patient inquiries Schedule appointments for pain management and podiatry providers Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary patient documentation Maintain accurate patient records using eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR Collect copays, balances, and process payments Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinical staff Scan, upload, and organize medical records and documents in the EMR Assist with referrals, authorizations, and appointment confirmations Ensure the front office remains organized, efficient, and patient-centered Support administrative and office operations as needed Qualifications Previous medical front desk or receptionist experience preferred Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Professional appearance and positive attitude Knowledge of insurance verification and medical scheduling preferred Strong organizational and computer skills High school diploma or equivalent required What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Professional and supportive team environment Growth opportunities within the practice Paid time off and benefits available for eligible employees We are looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and compassionate who enjoys working with patients and being part of a collaborative healthcare team.
