We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with deep expertise intest development for Thermal Interface Materials (TIMs) and more general Heat Transfer Systems. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and validation of advanced test methodologies to characterize thermal, mechanical, and long‑term reliability performance. You will collaborate closely with R, product engineering, and global test operations to deliver accurate, repeatable, and industry‑leading evaluation methods for next‑generation heat transfer technologies. Key Responsibilities Design and develop advanced test methods to evaluate thethermal, mechanical, electrical, rheological, and reliability performance of heat transfer technologies. Establish, optimize, and validate test protocols using equipment such asTIM testers, thermal test vehicles, thermal analyzers, mechanical compression systems, rheometers, and environmental chambers. Develop and implementautomated test sequences and instrument interfaces to improve testing throughput, repeatability, and data integrity. Mechanical& Thermal Characterization Leadthermo‑mechanical modeling efforts to support test development and correlate laboratory results to real‑world application conditions. Evaluate interactions between TIMs and system interfaces, includingheat spreaders, heat sinks, power modules, and IGBT/SiC‑based packages. Investigate anomalous or unexpected test results throughroot‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Analyze large and complex datasets to extract key performance metrics and establishstatistical confidence in results. Prepare high‑quality technical documentation, includingstandard operating procedures (SOPs), engineering reports, and test specifications. Partner withmaterials scientists, design engineers, and product managers to support material formulation and product development decisions. Supportcustomer validation testing and application‑specific performance evaluations. Transistor experience a plus. Train laboratory technicians and global test teams onnew test methods, equipment, and best practices. Experience with phase-transition heat transfer technologies like heat pipes and vapor chambers is a plus. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree with3+ years of experience, or a Master's degree, in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline. Hands‑on experience inthermal and/or mechanical testing, preferably involving TIMs, polymers, adhesives, or electronic packaging materials. Experience withthermal test systems, mechanical test equipment, and environmental or reliability testing. Strong foundation inheat transfer, solid mechanics, and materials behavior.
