Altamira is searching for an R D Engineer/Scientist in the Dayton, Ohio area:
Job Responsibilities:
Provide engineering and scientific support on our prime contract to produce and deliver results related to the PIR mission area. Performance and trending of analysis tool enhancements, visual presentations, recommendations on systems integration and system wide improvements Testing and analyzing system performance parameters and pursuing solutions to identified issues Recognizing and analyzing anomalous activity and providing resolution and mitigation support Experience with AI/ML methodologies that can lead to process improvement / and or increase efficiency of production Perform in-depth processing and exploitation of data Support the resolution of highly complex, technical problems and provide advice and recommendations
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or other related technical field Proficient with engineering codes to include MATLAB, Python, and/or IDL. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Active TS/SCI Clearance Prefer 3-5 years of engineering/scientific application experience Demonstrated knowledge of remote sensing principals and applications Altamira is an Equal Opportunity employer.
