- Full-time What we expect of you as a Mechanical Engineer The Mechanical Engineer works with a team of project engineers, electrical controls engineers, the engineering administrative assistant, shop floor personnel, and occasionally with the stockroom and inventory managers.
- Manage projects from initial design concept through production.
- Support our sales team by working with customer engineering and internal/external manufacturing teams.
- Complete and release product designs which meet customer requirements and internal best practices.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communicate project status to critical project stakeholders, and escalate concerns when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate product development records.
- Travel infrequently to interface with customer engineering and manufacturing bases.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Project Design Suite and Inventor (3D).
- Drawing and Design Experience in the packaging industry.
- Minimum of 5 years as an engineer/designer in the packaging industry or related field.
- Proven track record of successful machine design.
- Being proficient in project design, layout design, and modern engineering practices.
Essential Functions:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Must be able to read, write, and comprehend written plans.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Must be present on-site to complete the job.
Pay:
$65,000.00- $75,000.
