Collect, verify, and document accurate test data in accordance with lab standards. Maintain detailed test logs, observations, and shift handoff notes. Support data analysis efforts by organizing and summarizing test results. Assist in preparing systems and instrumentation for FWT activities. Support execution of test procedures and ensure systems meet defined test conditions. Provide real-time support during testing and document results for internal and customer review. Identify and troubleshoot issues related to test setup, instrumentation, and system performance. Support root-cause investigations for test failures and unexpected results. Escalate critical issues to senior engineers or lab leadership as needed. Work with mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers to support validation activities. Assist with prototype builds, test setup modifications, and system adjustments. Support implementation of test improvements and lab process updates. Identify opportunities to improve test efficiency, repeatability, and data quality. Support development and refinement of test procedures and documentation. Maintain organization and cleanliness of lab spaces and test areas (5S practices).

Basic Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience). 1-4 years of experience in test engineering, lab operations, or product validation. Basic understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer systems. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and basic electrical schematics. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability and willingness to travel up to 30%, including to domestic and international lab and testing locations. Must have flexibility to travel on short notice.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with thermal systems, liquid cooling, or HVAC equipment. Familiarity with data acquisition systems and test instrumentation. Exposure to ASHRAE testing or similar performance validation methods. Experience supporting Factory Witness Testing (FWT) or customer-facing test activities.
