Job Overview:
We are looking for Mechanical Engineer and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to advancing aerospace technology. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support mechanical systems, testing initiatives, and hydraulic applications in our R D Test Lab. Collaborate closely with experienced engineers to enhance lab capabilities, conduct critical development and certification testing, and contribute to innovative aerospace projects. Our team fosters a strong learning culture, where knowledge sharing and professional development are highly encouraged. This role suits someone who can work independently while taking direction from senior engineers and contributing in a high-performance team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the R D Lab team by taking direction from senior engineers on active projects.
- Design pressure, flow, and spray test stands and upgrades, focusing on improved automation using control valves and pressure & flow sensors.
- Develop and improve test stand control hardware and safety circuitry to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist calibration efforts for lab and production test stands to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Participate actively in a High-Performance Team environment, contributing to various functions as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field.
Hands-On Skills:
Experience in mechanical systems design, fabrication, and troubleshooting.
Communication:
Excellent skills for presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences, along with precise scientific documentation abilities.
Interpersonal Skills:
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Travel:
Willingness to travel occasionally.
