ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Researches and analyzes data such as customer supplied designs, commercial and military specifications and repair manuals to determine feasibility of design or application. Designs products or systems such as heat transfer equipment, aircraft exhaust components, tooling and test equipment. Ability to design complex assembly models in SolidWorks Creates manufacturing plans and bills of material in WCC manufacturing software. Ability to interface between engineering and internal and external customers. Travel to customer sites, other divisions and technical conferences.
QUALIFICATIONS
(Knowledge/Skills/Education) Bachelor Degree in Manufacturing, Materials, or Mechanical Engineering - Master's Degree a plus Minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, machine design, manufacturing process development, value engineering or product engineering Strong interpersonal skills, ability to organize, and excellent communication skills 3D modeling and GD&T drafting skills, SolidWorks preferred Strong knowledge of precision tools and measuring equipment Project management skills Microsoft Office experience
