Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical systems and components across various projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client specifications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge mechanical product development, utilizing advanced CAD tools and engineering principles. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, project management capabilities, and a collaborative approach to cross-functional communication. Responsibilities
  • Develops and implements mechanical designs to support cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards.
  • Designs and builds production tooling for CNC machining.
  • Designs and builds assembly aids and tooling independently in a machine shop environment and in collaboration with our machinists.
  • Working with automation engineers creates mechanical design of in house automation.
  • Understands and works with industrial control systems including PLC's and pneumatics.
  • Work with vendors and the production team to optimize internal and external processes to work together most effectively.
  • Coordinates manufacturing launch for new or revised products.
  • Create prints for manufacturing processes, working with team members to ensure tolerances are appropriate for the products.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering and 2 + years' experience OR 5 years of relevant experience. Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a focus on mechanical design and development. Proficiency in CAD software including SolidWorks, Creo, and familiarity with drafting standards. Strong understanding of mechanical knowledge including machine design, tolerance analysis, and system design. Knowledge of manufacturing processes including CNC machining and assembly techniques.
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
