Job Description
We Are Synopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow. You Are You have spent years building systems that live at the uncomfortable edge between backend infrastructure and user-facing interfaces, and you have learned that neither side matters if the other one breaks. You know that a beautiful UI on top of a fragile API is just a slow-motion failure, and a rock-solid backend that nobody can figure out how to use is just expensive shelf-ware. You care about both, and you can move between them without losing context. You have worked on platforms where performance, scale, and user experience all matter at the same time. Maybe you have built dashboards that query massive datasets without choking. Maybe you have wired up 3D visualizations that actually render at frame rates people can use. You do not treat frontend work as a nice-to-have or backend work as someone else's problem. You own the whole flow. You are drawn to problems that sit at the intersection of AI, simulation, and real-time systems because they are hard in interesting ways. At Synopsys, you will work on a Physical AI platform where what you build powers how engineers simulate, visualize, and interact with complex environments. The work is real, the stack is modern, and the team expects you to contribute across it. What You'll Be Doing Design and build core platform components for a Physical AI system that spans backend services, data pipelines, and frontend interfaces Develop responsive, high-performance web applications using React or similar modern frameworks, working closely with UX/UI designers to deliver interfaces engineers actually want to use Integrate AI and ML components, APIs, and simulation workflows into a cohesive platform architecture Write and maintain code in Python, C++, and JavaScript/TypeScript across backend services and frontend applications Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making that shapes how the platform evolves Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and monitoring for cloud and on-premise environments Debug and resolve complex issues that span the full stack, from API performance bottlenecks to rendering glitches in 3D visualizations The Impact You Will Have Enable engineers across Synopsys to simulate and visualize physical AI environments with tools that are fast, reliable, and intuitive Reduce friction between backend infrastructure and frontend experience, making the platform easier to adopt and harder to misuse Accelerate development velocity by building reusable components, clear APIs, and automation that the broader R&D team can build on Shape the technical direction of a platform at the intersection of AI, simulation, and 3D workflows, influencing how Synopsys approaches Physical AI tooling Improve platform reliability and performance through disciplined testing, monitoring, and deployment practices that catch issues before users do Support cross-functional teams by delivering features end-to-end, from data layer to UI, without dropping context or creating handoff gaps Contribute to a codebase and architecture that scales as the platform grows in complexity, user base, and integration points What You'll Need 8+ years of software development experience building production systems, with demonstrated ability to work across backend and frontend layers Strong proficiency in Python and C++ for backend services, data processing, and performance-critical components Solid frontend development skills using React, Angular, or Vue.js, with a track record of building responsive, user-friendly web applications Deep understanding of web technologies including
